We are pleased to announce the release of FEBio Studio version 3.0, a major update that advances the usability, flexibility, and analytical power of FEBio Studio. This release focuses on making workflows more programmable and providing new capabilities for model execution and diagnostics.

Key Highlights:
- Interactive FEBio Monitor: Run FEBio models directly within the FEBio Studio graphical interface and inspect the solution state during execution.
- FEBio Reports: Generate comprehensive, detailed analyses of FEBio runs with support for log-based report generation.
- Python Support: Script FEBio Studio workflows with an integrated Python editor and interpreter.
- Plugin Generation & Repository: Create FEBio plugins in-app and explore community plugins via the new plugin repository.
- Enhanced Rendering: Complete overhaul of the render engine with support for multiple backends (Vulkan, Direct3D, OpenGL, and Metal on macOS).
- Improved Usability & Visualization: New ray-tracer for high-quality imagery, advanced visual material properties, environment maps, and enhanced modeling tools.
In addition to these headline features, FEBio Studio 3.0 includes numerous new tools, workflow improvements, and bug fixes to improve performance and stability. Full details are available in the release notes on GitHub.
