version 0.48 is broken

Reproduction

issue resolves with bitsandbytes==0.47

Expected behavior

all the models which are quantized with prior versions are severely broken when loaded with 0.48, issue resolves with 0.47 or older versions.
I'm not sure which change has caused the problem yet, will look further and if found the issue will create a pull request.

Hi,

Specifically, are you using pre-quantized int8 models? We've noticed an issue with those and will likely have a patch release soon to fix that. Otherwise, if there's an issue with 4bit please provide us with some more details to reproduce.

yes sir, I'm creating and using my own quantized models using bnb, where int8 is completely broken, streams nonsense tokens, no EOS, nf4/fp4 is half broken, makes sense but repeats itself and doesn't use EOS.
I used unsloth 4bits models to test the nf4/fp4 models.
