I'll start. I'm Ian. I'm a long time user of both Xarray and Napari and I've always wanted a more seamless integration. I'm currently working at earthmover as the Xarray Community Developer so I'm devoted full time to improving Xarray for biologists. I see making Xarray work well with Napari to be an amazing opportunity for both libraries and I'm really excited to try and push it forward

Hi all, I'm Barry van Jaarsveld, a PhD candidate at Utrecht University. We work with Tb scale hydrology data and visualization is often a headache. This sounds very promising and I'll be keeping an eye out for any developments!

I haven't used napari extensively but use xarray to work with large zarr stores, so I would be interested to test or contribute towards something that makes it easier to view the large global datasets.
