Image@fedifyFedify: ActivityPub server framework

Congratulations!

I am really delighted with Image@nlnet decision to select Image@drfed for an grant. Having good quality developer tools for creating based solutions is so important for a healthy developer ecosystem.

To anyone reading, bookmark the website..

Fedify Studio is focused on alleviating the most pressing issue of "Why is ActivityPub development so frustratingly hard?" that makes it unattractive for newcomers to adopt the technology. And addresses topics of:

- Protocol complexity
- hell
- Debugging nightmare
- Limited visibility

from the very start has paid attention to ease of use for fediverse solution developers, not just by their library codebase, but with comprehensive documentation and tools to guide people along. Kudos here to Image@hongminhee洪 民憙 (Hong Minhee) :nonbinary: who started this great initiative!

67 projects will receive NGI0 grants to support the great work they are doing to keep our internet fair, open, resilient and secure with us, the users, at the center. Together they are fixing the internet across the entire technology stack, from open hardware to end user applications. Each project is free/libre/open source meaning everyone can use, study, share and modify them. A true digital commons.

Come over to meet the projects!

Some of you have already heard of us as Studio. We now have a proper name: DrFed, short for “Doctor Fed.” We've also just received funding from Image@nlnet, through the NGI0 Commons Fund.

is a web app for debugging interoperability failures. When two implementations don't federate, the slow part is usually figuring out where the exchange broke: signing, JSON-LD processing, WebFinger, or something less obvious. DrFed's first job is to show where it failed.

We're the team behind Image@fedifyFedify: ActivityPub server framework: Image@2chanhaeng초무, Image@gaebalgom개발곰, Image@hongminhee洪 民憙 (Hong Minhee) :nonbinary:, and Image@z9mb1Jiwon. We'll post updates when there's something to try.
