Hang Gao 高杭

Hello! I am Hang. I work and run in Palo Alto. These days, I like to think about multimodal AI that helps people express and communicate.

I am currently at Reve, focusing on multimodal scaling and systems. Previously, I was a member of technical staff at xAI, where I helped train Grok's video model.

I did my PhD at UC Berkeley advised by Angjoo Kanazawa. Before that, I studied at Jiao Tong University and Columbia.

I write sometimes.
