Welcome to Kedara
A personal website by Ruben Verweij
My name is Ruben Verweij
and
this is my personal wiki, digital garden, blog, or, to summarize: personal
website. I write about whatever interests me at the time. Currently, that’s
mostly the following topics:
Human web (a.k.a. Indieweb, smallweb),
Personal stuff,
Tech,
Books,
Yoga (practice and philosophy),
Philosophy,
Sanskrit and
Kedara (about this website). I also keep
track of what I’m focused on now.
- In June, I’ve collected links to wonderful blogs for Junited 2026. I hope you’ll be inspired!
Some of my pages
Some of the pages that I’ve been working on lately include Repeat that, repeat, Natuurmomenten: Juli 2026 (Nederlands), Book reviews in 2026, Book: The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin and Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali: the full text. This website is bilingual: currently, 61% of the pages are written in English and 39% of the pages are written in Dutch.
I’ll post (plant?) pages before they’re fully fleshed out and I’ll frequently update them. Once they’re complete enough for a first version, they’re also shown on my blog. Some (random) examples of more or less finished pages are Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, Uses, Gooseberry jam, More multilingualism please and Devanāgarī and IAST.
Also check out the overview of slash pages, the about page or the colophon. I share interesting links here and have listed more recommendations on my Blogroll page. There are various ways to follow my work.
Explore by topic
There’s no chronological order in the digital garden. Instead, the pages are interconnected by links and organized by topic. Therefore, topics are a good starting point to explore my digital garden. The topics with the most pages are shown below:
I hope you’ll enjoy my digital garden!
