  • Can I exchange a replacement bottle that does not fit my lava lamp?

    If your replacement bottle does not fit your lamp, please contact our customer service team with your order number and details of your lamp. Subject to our Returns Policy, we can advise on exchange options.

  • Why is there a metal spring or coil in my lava lamp bottle?

    The metal spring at the bottom of your lava lamp bottle is an essential part of the lamp and helps the lava flow correctly. If the spring becomes dislodged, run the lamp for up to six hours to allow it to settle back into place. This may need to be repeated if the spring does not settle on the first attempt.

  • What makes a Mathmos lava lamp different from other lava lamps?

  • Why is my lava lamp forming stalagmite shapes?

    Stalagmite shapes are a normal part of the lava lamp warming up process. As the lamp heats up, these shapes will gradually melt and transform into the flowing lava effect. Once the lamp has reached its optimum operating temperature, the lava should begin to flow normally.

  • Why does my lava lamp look a different colour from the photos?

    Mathmos lava lamp bottles are handcrafted, so slight variations in colour can occur. More commonly, the appearance of a lava lamp can vary depending on room lighting and screen display settings. Our product photos are taken to represent the colours as accurately as possible, but colours may appear different under different lighting conditions.   • What is Mathmos doing about the halogen bulb phase-out?

    Mathmos continues to use compliant halogen bulbs to heat and light its lava lamps, despite the phase-out of some halogen bulbs for general lighting applications. We are also exploring alternative technologies for future lava lamp designs should regulations change further. Our commitment is to keep Mathmos lava lamps in use for as long as possible by continuing to offer spare parts, replacement bulbs and ongoing support wherever possible.

  • How long does a Mathmos lava lamp bottle or bulb last?

    Mathmos lava lamp bottles typically provide around 2,000 hours of operation, although many customers enjoy their bottles for much longer. The lifespan of a bulb can vary depending on usage and handling. Bulbs purchased directly from Mathmos are covered by a one year guarantee. Replacement bottles and bulbs are available on our website for many current and recent models.

  • How long should I leave my lava lamp on?

    Most Mathmos lava lamps can be used for up to six hours at a time. Exceptions include the Mathmos Candle lava lamps, which should be used for no more than four hours, and the Mathmos Saturn and Jumbo Jet Giant lava lamps, which can be used for up to twelve hours. Always follow the operating instructions supplied with your lava lamp.

  • Where can I find the Mathmos logo on my lava lamp?

    The Mathmos logo can be found in several locations depending on the model, including the base, cap, cord label and, on most models, etched onto the bottle. Some bottles also feature the Mathmos name or logo moulded into the glass on the underside.

  • Why does my lava lamp have specks or bubbles in the glass?

    Mathmos lava lamp bottles are made in one of the highest quality automated glass factories in Great Britain. Small bubbles and specks in the glass are a normal part of the manufacturing process and are not a fault. They do not affect the performance, safety or lifespan of your lava lamp.

  • Why is the wax in my lava lamp stuck at the top?

    A small amount of wax at the top of your lava lamp bottle can occur as the lamp cools between uses and is not usually a cause for concern. If a large amount of wax remains stuck at the top during operation, the lamp may have overheated. Turn the lamp off and allow it to cool completely before using it again.

  • Can I buy Mathmos lamps and spare parts in the USA or Canada?

  • Why is the liquid in my lava lamp cloudy?

    A cloudy lava lamp bottle is usually caused by the bottle being shaken or moved while hot, or by the bottle reaching the end of its lifespan. If your lava lamp is cloudy, run it through a few normal operating cycles to see if the liquid clears. If the cloudiness does not improve, a replacement bottle may be required and can be purchased from our website.

  • Why has my lava lamp bottle faded?

    The colour of a lava lamp bottle can gradually fade over time due to age, heat and exposure to light. To help preserve the colour of your lava lamp, keep it away from direct sunlight, strong natural light and other heat sources. If your lava lamp bottle is still under warranty and you have followed the care instructions, please contact our customer service team. Otherwise, a replacement bottle can be purchased from our website.

  • Can I order a lava lamp colour that is not shown on your website?

    Mathmos has offered a wide variety of lava lamp colours throughout its history. While it is not possible for us to keep every colour in stock, we continue to offer a carefully selected range of lava lamp colours. We also occasionally release new colours and Special Fills, so we recommend signing up to our mailing list and following us on social media for the latest updates.

  • Does Mathmos offer custom lava lamp bottle colours?

    Mathmos does not offer custom lava lamp bottle colours for most models. However, custom bottle colours may be available for Saturn and Jumbo Jet Giant lava lamps. Please contact our customer service team to discuss custom colour options for these models.

  • Can I buy replacement liquid for my lava lamp?

    Mathmos lava lamp bottles are sealed units and should not be opened or refilled. Attempting to add replacement liquid will void your warranty and may cause overfilling, increasing pressure on the glass bottle. For safety reasons, we do not sell lava lamp liquid separately. Instead, you can purchase a replacement lava lamp bottle with professionally filled contents from the Mathmos website.

  • Why can I see air bubbles in the lava?

    Small air bubbles in the lava are normal, especially when you first receive your lava lamp. These bubbles will generally reduce as the lava lamp is used over time and do not affect performance.

  • Why is the wax in my lava lamp stuck to the glass?

    If the wax in your lava lamp is stuck to the glass, try using the lamp a few more times. In most cases, the wax will gradually rejoin the rest of the contents. If the wax remains stuck and you have followed the operating instructions, please contact our customer service team. If your lava lamp is no longer under warranty, a replacement bottle may be required.

  • Why can I see particles in my new lava lamp bottle?

    There should be nothing in your lava lamp bottle besides the lava, liquid and metal coil. Occasionally, you may notice small particles in the lava as it flows. These are usually dye particles from the manufacturing process and are not considered a fault. In most cases, they will become less noticeable over time. If you see anything else in your lava lamp bottle, please contact our customer service team.

  • How should I recycle my lava lamp?

    Before recycling your lava lamp, consider replacing parts such as the bottle, bulb, base and cap. We offer spares for most Mathmos lava lamp models from the 1960s to today. If you own a Giant lava lamp, please contact our customer service team.

    If recycling is necessary, please take the lamp to your nearest household recycling centre that accepts electrical waste.

  • Has the formulation of Mathmos lava lamps changed?

    The formula used in Mathmos lava lamps has evolved since the 1960s, improving resistance to clouding in heat and freezing in cold temperatures. However, the formula has remained unchanged in recent years.

  • Why is my lava lamp not flowing?

    If your lava lamp is not flowing:

    Check that the bulb is working and is the correct wattage for your model.Ensure the lamp is positioned away from drafts, air conditioning and windows.Make sure the room temperature is at least 20°C.Allow the lamp to run for up to 4 to 6 hours, as lava lamps can take longer to warm up when first used.For older lava lamp bases, check that the correct bulb is fitted by referring to the bulb care and handling guidance for your model.Ensure the metal coil is present at the bottom of the bottle, as this is essential for proper lava flow.
  • How can I clean my lava lamp?

    To clean your lava lamp, use a glass cleaner and a soft cloth on the lava lamp bottle. The base and cap are made from either aluminium or zinc alloy, depending on the model, so use cleaning products recommended for these materials. If you are unsure, use a soft cloth only. Avoid abrasive cleaning products, as they can permanently damage your lava lamp.

  • What should I do if my lava lamp is not working?

    Firstly, check our FAQs to see if your lava lamp issue is covered. If you still need assistance, all Mathmos lava lamps include a one year warranty, extended to two years when purchased directly from our website.   • Can I buy a replacement screw cap for my lava lamp bottle?

    No, replacement screw caps for Mathmos lava lamp bottles are not available separately. The bottle caps are glue sealed and pressure fitted during manufacture. If your bottle requires replacement, you can purchase a replacement bottle from the Mathmos website.

  • What should I do if I accidentally break my lava lamp?

    If your lava lamp bottle breaks, carefully collect any broken glass and dispose of it safely. We recommend wearing gloves to protect your hands. Use paper towels or a disposable cloth to absorb as much of the liquid and lava as possible, then clean the affected area using methods appropriate for the surface. For specific cleaning advice, refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for your surface material.

  • How old is my lava lamp?

    Due to changes in manufacturing over the years, it is not always possible to identify the exact age of a Mathmos lava lamp. If you would like to learn more about your lamp, specialist resources such as flowoflava.com may be able to help.

  • Can I buy a replacement lamp holder for my lava lamp?

    Due to electrical safety regulations, we are unable to supply replacement lamp holders separately. However, replacement base and cap bundles are available for many models, and a wide range of other parts can be found in our spares and extras section.

  • How does a lava lamp work?

    A lava lamp works by gently heating a special wax formulation at the base of the bottle. As the wax warms, it becomes less dense than the surrounding liquid and rises. When it cools, it becomes denser and sinks again, creating the smooth, continuous movement that defines a Mathmos lava lamp. Mathmos has refined its lava lamp formula since 1963 to improve clarity, colour stability and long-lasting flow.

  • Can I move or shake my lava lamp?

    No. Lava lamps should not be moved or shaken while operating or when the bottle is still warm. This can cause the liquid to become cloudy and may affect the flow of the lava. Always allow your lava lamp to cool completely before moving it.

  • Why is my lava lamp not flowing after storage or shipping?

    If your lava lamp is not flowing after storage or shipping, this is usually temporary. Following a long period of storage or transport, the wax may need several heating and cooling cycles to return to normal operation. Run your lava lamp for up to six hours at a time in a room between 20°C and 24°C. The flow should gradually improve as the wax and coil settle.

  • Can I use any bulb in a lava lamp?

    No. Lava lamps require a specific wattage and type of bulb to heat the wax correctly. Using the wrong bulb can prevent your lava lamp from flowing properly or may cause the bottle to overheat. LED bulbs are not suitable, as they do not produce the heat needed for proper flow. Please visit our replacement bulbs section to find the correct bulb for your model.

  • Are lava lamps safe around pets?

    Yes, when used responsibly. Lava lamps should be kept out of reach of pets and placed on a stable surface. Like any electrical product, a lava lamp is best used under supervision.

  • What should I do if my lava lamp is leaking?

    If your lava lamp is leaking, switch it off and allow it to cool before handling. Wipe away any leaked liquid and check the bottle and base carefully. The liquid inside is not dangerous, but the lamp should not be used again until the cause of the leak has been identified.

  • Can I leave my lava lamp on all night?

    No. We do not recommend leaving a lava lamp on all night. For best performance and longevity, operate your lava lamp for up to six hours at a time and allow it to cool completely before switching it on again.

  • Do lava lamps use a lot of electricity?

    Not really. Most Mathmos lava lamps use a low wattage bulb. The amount of electricity used depends on the model, bulb wattage and operating time.

  • Will I have to pay customs charges on my order?

    No. All EU orders are shipped duty paid from our distribution centre in Germany. This means there are no additional customs charges, import duties or taxes to pay upon delivery.

  • Can I buy replacement bottles for Special Fills and Limited Editions?

    Special Fills are one off runs, and Limited Editions are capped at specific production numbers. As a result, replacement bottles are not always available. These products are covered by our standard two year warranty.

  • Are bulbs included with my lava lamp?

    Most Mathmos lava lamps are supplied with one bulb as standard. Occasionally, a complimentary bulb may be included due to the fragile nature of lava lamp bulbs and the risk of damage during transit. For specific details, please refer to the product page specifications for your lamp.

  • Can I refill my lava lamp bottle myself?

    No. Mathmos lava lamp bottles are sealed units and should not be opened or refilled. Attempting to refill a lava lamp bottle may damage the lamp and void your warranty.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Once an order has been placed, it is processed quickly and changes or cancellations are not always possible. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order, and we will do our best to help.

  • Can I buy a lava lamp as a gift?

    Yes. Mathmos lava lamps make great gifts and can be shipped directly to an alternative delivery address. Pricing is not shown on the packing slip, and all lamps are supplied in a stylish gift box. Please note that we do not currently offer gift wrapping.

  • What is your returns policy?

    Yes. We offer a 30 day return period. If you change your mind, you can request a return through our website. You will be responsible for the return postage, and items must be returned in resaleable condition and in their original packaging.

    Extended Christmas Returns: Products shipped between 1 November and 24 December may be returned for a refund or exchange, provided we are notified by 30 January. All other return terms remain unchanged.

  • Why is my lava lamp not working?

    If your lava lamp is not working, the most common cause is a failed bulb. First, check the fuse in your plug and ensure the bulb is correctly fitted. If your lamp was supplied with a spare bulb, we recommend trying this as well.

    Mathmos bulbs are covered by a one year guarantee. If all bulbs supplied with your lamp have failed within this period, please contact our customer service team for support. Should your bulbs have reached the end of their lifespan, replacement bulbs are available to purchase from our website.

  • Are lava lamps dangerous?

    No, Mathmos lava lamps are safe and designed to meet applicable safety standards. All Mathmos lava lamps undergo regular testing by independent bodies.

  • Why is my bottle not sitting straight in the base?

    Mathmos bottles are supplied with a lip that runs around the bottom of the bottle to ensure they sit straight in the base. When the bottle is placed on a base, it should fit securely, although it will still be possible to move the bottle from side to side, and a shadow gap may be visible. There have been many bottle and base size variations over time, so it may be possible with some much older products that a new bottle does not fit in the base. Please contact our customer service team for advice if your bottle isn't sitting on the base.

  • Why is my lava lamp not lighting up?

    Please check that your bulb is working. You can purchase a new bulb here. Alternatively, please check the integrity of the fuse located in the plug.

  • Why is there a small gap between the base and the bottle?

    Some lamps have a shadow gap between the base and the bottle; this is normal.

  • How do I care for my limited-edition Astro bottle?

    The coating on this bottle is very delicate; please take great care. Avoid rotating the bottle on the base as this can cause scratches.

  • How do I fit my Neo halogen bulb?

    Once your product has completely cooled, use the Allen key provided to unscrew and remove the back screw (keep these components safe). Holding the bottle and arm piece carefully, lift and remove the bottle and arm piece from the base. Carefully take the arm piece off the bottle. When installing the bulb, please only fit the correct type, as stated in the label on the base. You can install this by gently pushing them into the holder socket. Following a successful bulb change, please follow the instructions given previously in reverse to reassemble your lamp.

  • How long should it take for my lava lamp to warm up?

    Most lava lamps should start working within one hour to an hour and a half after they have been switched on. First, they will form stalagmite shapes before the liquid lava formations. Please note that new bottles may take longer to heat up (up to three hours), but the time taken is expected to decrease after several uses.

  • Are Mathmos lava lamps suitable for children?

    The only suitable lava lamps for children are the Mathmos Neo Table range. The Neo lava lamp was developed with children in mind, so as well as looking stylish, it is also shatterproof, has fixture points, does not get too hot, and is screwed together as a secure unit. The lamp has also passed stringent safety checks required to be classified as child-safe, something no other lava lamp in the UK has a classification for. We recommend all other lava lamps be placed well out of reach of children under 14 years old.

  • What makes Neo qualify for a certificate for all ages, unlike other lava lamps?

    The product must adhere to a stringent criterion to achieve this. For example, the bulb should not be accessible without a tool, it must be low voltage (not mains voltage), it must be very stable, it must have a shatterproof coating on the glass, the bottle must be fixed to the base, and it must not be too hot.

  • Can I use a Neo bottle in my Telstar or Astro Baby lava lamps?

    No. Neo has a unique formulation different from other bottles. This would overheat if used with other models. Contrastingly, Astro Baby and Telstar bottles will run slowly or not at all if used with the Neo.

  • Neo’s bottle looks a little different to the other Mathmos lava lamp bottles, why?

    The bottle has a shatterproof coating to help hold the glass together should this be dropped and broken. In this worst-case scenario, additional Neo bottles are available to be purchased here.

  • I have lost the screw holding my Neo together. What should I do?

    Replacement screws and Allen keys can be purchased for the Neo lava lamp here.

  • Can I easily change my Neo bottle when needed?

    Once your product has completely cooled, use the Allen key provided to unscrew and remove the back screw (keep these components safe). Holding the bottle and arm piece carefully, lift and remove the bottle and arm piece from the base. Carefully take the arm piece off the bottle. Reverse this process to install the new bottle.   • Why is my Neo lava lamp not lighting up?

    Try changing the bulb, replacement bulbs can be purchased here. Alternatively, please check the integrity of your power supply (from the plug to the lamp). Replacement power supplies can be purchased here.

  • Why is there a small gap between the base and the bottle?

    Some lamps have a shadow gap between the base and the bottle; this is normal.

  • I am having trouble fitting my Neo together.

    It is important to install the cap and rear arm element on top of the bottle before you position these on the base. Please see the 'Instructions' tab for detailed assembly guidelines on the relevant product page.

  • There is a little light bleed from the joints at the back of Neo, is this normal?

    Yes, this is normal.

  • The screw fixing my Neo together sticks out a little, is this normal?

    Yes. They do vary a little, and this can be normal.

  • Is it possible to connect my Neo Wall lava lamp directly to the mains wiring without the supplied power supply?

    Under no circumstances must the Neo Wall be installed in this way. The Neo Wall lava lamp is a low voltage (class III) product and must be connected to the included power supply to function safely and correctly.

  • Why does my Neo lava lamp not come on immediately?

    A slight delay before the light comes on is normal with halogen bulbs. This is not considered a fault.

  • How long should it take for my candle powered lava lamp to warm up?

    Candle-powered lava lamps should start flowing within twenty minutes after lighting. First, they will form stalagmite shapes before the liquid lava formations. Please note that new bottles may take longer to heat up; the time taken is expected to decrease after several uses.

  • Which tealights should I use with my candle lava lamp?

    For optimal performance, we recommend using tealights that are 15 mm in height, as tealights can vary in flame height, heating ability, and wick length. Mathmos tealights are recommended, but you can also use other high-quality tealights of the same size. For further recommendations, please check the product page under specifications.

  • Will candle-powered lava lamps work outside?

    Yes. Like any unprotected candlelight, you will need a place with no wind.

  • What extra safety precautions should I use when using a candle powered lava lamp?

    Firstly, please read the instructions carefully. Following any points that are relevant for all tealights.

    DO NOT: leave unattended, leave on when going to sleep, use water to put out the flame, let debris (like part of a match) sit in the tealight, position near anything flammable, touch or move when lit, position near drafts, vents, children, or pets.

  • Why is my bottle not sitting straight in the base?

    When the bottle is placed on a base, it should fit securely, although it will still be possible to move the bottle from side to side, and a shadow gap may be visible.

  • Can I use scented candle products?

    We do not recommend using these types of candles for this product.

  • How do I fit my halogen bulb? (iO)

    First, ensure that the product is unplugged and cool. Remove the glass heat shield. At first glance, the bulb may look too long, but rest assured as the bulb holder contacts are spring-loaded. Locate one end of the bulb on the pin and gently push. The other end of the bulb can then be located on the opposing pin. Finally, refit the glass shield.

  • How long should it take for my iO lava lamp to warm up?

    The iO giant lava lamp should start working within two to two and a half hours from being switched on. First, the lava will form stalagmite shapes before the liquid lava formations. Please note that new bottles may take longer to heat up (up to three hours), but the time taken is expected to decrease after several uses. If your giant lava lamp does not warm up during this time, please ensure the room temperature is at least 20 degrees. Lava lamps should also be located away from any drafts or air conditioning.

  • I have broken the iO glass shield, do you have spares?

    Yes. Mathmos lava lamps are designed to last. Please contact our Customer Service Team.

  • Will a Lunar bottle work on my iO?

    Yes. The iO and the Lunar lava lamps use the same bottle. They are interchangeable.

  • Do you provide a dimmer with the iO?

    The iO runs best at an ambient temperature between 20C and 25C. Under these circumstances will not need a dimmer.

    Sometimes when the ambient temperature is higher, it may be better to run the product with the lamp dimmed. Plug-in dimmers, suitable for halogen lamps, are readily available and can be used with the iO lava lamp.

  • How do I fit my iO cap correctly?

  • The screws fixing my iO together stick out just a little, is this normal?

    Yes. They do vary a little and this can be normal.

  • Where is the Mathmos brand on my Rokit?

  • I have broken the Rokit glass shield, do you have spares?

  • Will a Lunar bottle work on my Rokit?

    The Rokit, iO and the Lunar use the same bottles and are interchangeable.

  • How can I clean my Rokit lava lamp?

    The bottle should be cleaned with glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Only use a microfibre cloth to clean the aluminium parts. The silicone slots can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products as this can irreparably damage the product.

  • You don't provide a dimmer with the Rokit?

    The Rokit runs best at an ambient temperature between 20 and 25C and under these circumstances will not need a dimmer. Sometimes when the temperature is higher it may be better run the product with the lamp dimmed. Plug-in dimmers suitable for halogen lamps are available and can be used with the product.

  • Do I need to fit the glass shield?

  • How long should it take for my Rokit lava lamp to warm up?

    The Rokit Lava lamp should start working within two to two and a half hours of turning it on. First it will form stalagmite shapes, then they will start to form lava lamp shapes. Please note, new bottles will take longer to heat up (up to three hours), but the heating time will decrease after several uses. As the Rokit use a lower wattage lamp than the iO the lava can perform differently to that model. If your lava lamp does not warm up in this time, it may be positioned in the wrong place or the room may be too cold. Lava lamps should be positioned away from drafts and air conditioning. The room should be at least 20 degrees centigrade.

  • I am having trouble changing the bulb.

    Ensure that the product is unplugged and cool. At first glance, the bulb looks too long for the lamp holder, however, the contacts are spring-loaded. Locate one end of the bulb on the pin and gently push, the other end of the lamp can then be located on the other pin. Refit the glass shield.

  • How much does the Rokit weigh?

    The Rokit weighs 12 kg.

  • What size is the Rokit?

    The Rokit is 66.5 cm (25.79 inches) high and 25 cm (9.84 inches) in diameter.

  • I can sometimes see a blue flash of light from the switch. Is it safe?

    It is perfectly safe. As the live current makes contact with the other part of the switch it can occasionally create a small blue flash.

  • Are the halogen lamps that the Rokit uses not banned?

    These lamps are currently exempt under the new UK and EU Eco Design regulations.

  • How do I fit my halogen bulb? (Saturn)

    Fit the bulb into the product by pushing one end in and springing it into place between the lamp holder contacts. Ensure that each end of the bulb is sitting entirely in the lamp holder.

  • How long should it take for my Saturn lava lamp to warm up?

    The Saturn lava lamp should start working within three to three and a half hours after switching it on. First, they will form stalagmite shapes before the liquid lava formations. Please note that new bottles may take longer to heat up, but the time taken is expected to decrease after several uses. If your lava lamp does not warm up during this time, it may be positioned in the wrong place, or the room temperature may be too cold. Mathmos lava lamps should be located away from drafts or air conditioning and at room temperature of 20 to 24 degrees.

  • How much does the Saturn weigh?

    The Saturn weighs 24.7 kg in total. The stand and aluminium parts weigh 5.7 kg, and the bottle weighs 19 kg separately. Important: Lifting the bottle is a two-person task. With one person on each side carefully lift the bottle into position.

  • What size is the Saturn?

    The Saturn lava lamp measures 152 cm (59.84 inches) in height, 54 cm (21.26 inches) in width, and 48 cm (18.9 inches) in depth. The spread of the legs is 61 cm (24.02 inches) in diameter.

  • Why is my Saturn lava lamp not lighting up?

  • What is the best way to move the Saturn lava lamp?

    First, unplug the product and wait for it to cool completely. With two people, gently lift the bottle off the stand and set it safely to one side. Move the stand to your desired location and re-position the bottle on top. Never drag the product as this can permanently damage the stand or cause this to tip over.

  • I can sometimes see a blue flash of light from the foot switch. Is it safe?

    Yes, it is perfectly safe. When the lava lamp is switched ON a live electric current is restored on the circuit, this can occasionally create a small blue flash.

    Column is available in three exclusive colours: Bubblegum, Peach, and Honeydew. Currently, we do not offer custom finishes or colours.

  • Can Column be shortened to fit my space?

    Yes, Column is 296 cm tall as standard, but it can be shortened if needed, with a minimum height of 221 cm. A clearance of at least 22 cm is required between the top of the lamp and the ceiling.

  • How is Column packaged and delivered?

    Each Column is packed securely in a wooden crate and sent duty and carriage paid. Delivery is approximately 3 months from order.

  • Can I purchase a replacement bottle for the Column?

    The scale of the focused image achieved will vary depending on the effect. Lava lamp wheels project focused images of up to 4 meters / 13 feet in a dark room. All other wheels will present a crisp, focused image up to 1.5 meters / 4 feet. Please note that a darker environment is required to achieve a larger image.

  • Can the Space Projector be displayed on the ceiling or floor?

    The Space Projector can be cast onto a ceiling by rotating the body but cannot be angled toward the floor.

  • Can I use a lava lamp wheel and graphic wheel simultaneously?

    No, only one wheel at a time. However, you can use wheels in conjunction with graphic or coloured slides to achieve more possibilities.

  • Can the Space Projector be mounted on a wall?

    No. The Space Projector was designed to be positioned on a flat surface.

  • Can I buy a Space Projector without an effect?

    No. The Space Projector includes one effect of your choice as standard. You can also purchase alternative effects separately here.

  • Can I buy replacement parts for the Space Projector?

  • How do I make the image from my Space Projector clearer?

    Turn the clear plastic focus body on the front of your Space Projector to adjust the image and focus. Please refer to our video here if unsure.

    Run the Space Projector wheel for several days, at least three hours per use, and this should disappear. If this has not helped please read our Faulty Product Returns Advice and contact our Customer Services Team for help with a product within warranty.

  • My Space Projector is making a noise, what shall I do?

    Ensure that your Space Projector is positioned on an even surface and is not run for more than 6 hours. If the noise continues and your lamp was purchased from us less than two years ago, please read our Faulty Product Returns Advice.
