Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the WordPress/WooCommerce plan and the Shopify plan?
The WordPress/WooCommerce plan is billed directly by Setary and covers WooCommerce stores, WordPress sites, and WordPress multisite installs. The Shopify plan is billed through the Shopify App Store and covers Shopify stores. They’re sold separately because each platform has different billing systems. If you run both WooCommerce and Shopify stores, you’ll need a subscription for each – even though you’ll be using the Setary app to access your stores on both platforms.
What counts as a “store” on my plan?
Each WooCommerce store or WordPress site you connect to Setary counts as one store on your WordPress/WooCommerce plan. If you run a WordPress multisite install, each site within the network counts as its own store. On the Shopify plan, each Shopify store is a separate installation with its own subscription.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your Setary account – upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference, downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. For the Shopify plan, changes are managed through your Shopify admin.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, every plan includes a free 7-day trial, regardless of platform. You’ll get access automatically when you sign up. For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, no credit card is required up front. For the Shopify plan, trial mechanics follow the Shopify App Store’s standard process. You can also try our live demo for 48 hours, which is pre-populated with dummy data so that you can give Setary a proper test drive.
Can I pay monthly or annually?
The WordPress/WooCommerce plan is billed annually on a subscription. Shopify plans follow Shopify’s App Store billing, which is typically monthly alongside your Shopify subscription. All plans can be cancelled at any time.
What payment methods do you accept?
For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, we accept all major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. For the Shopify plan, payment is handled through Shopify using whichever payment method is on your Shopify account.
What happens if I exceed my store limit?
You’ll be prompted to upgrade to a higher plan if you try to connect more stores than your current plan allows. Your existing connections keep working normally – nothing breaks or gets cut off. Remember that your plan includes unlimited products, variants and edits for each store, with no restrictions on the number of bulk edits you can perform.
Can I get an invoice or VAT receipt?
Yes. For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, every payment automatically generates an invoice with your business details, downloadable from your Setary account. EU/UK VAT is handled automatically at checkout. For the Shopify plan, invoices are available through your Shopify admin.
What if I have a problem or need help?
Every Setary plan includes premium support from our team. For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, reach out via the support form in your Setary account or email us directly, and we’ll get back to you quickly. For the Shopify plan, support is available through the Shopify App Store and our website. We also have a full documentation site covering setup, common workflows, and troubleshooting.
How do I cancel?
For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, you can cancel anytime from your Setary account – your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. For the Shopify plan, cancellation is handled by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
Do you offer refunds?
For the WordPress/WooCommerce plan, we have a 30-day money-back guarantee – if something isn’t working, we’d love the chance to fix it first, but if you still want a refund within 30 days, we’ll happily process it. For the Shopify plan, refunds are handled by Shopify according to the App Store refund policy.
