Interview with Patricia Bohle, future Executive Director of the Theodora Foundation

Thirty-three years after the Theodora Foundation was established, its founders, Jan and André Poulie, are preparing to hand over the organisation to which they have dedicated their lives. From 1 June 2026, a team of three senior internal managers will take over the running of the Foundation. Patricia Bohle has been appointed Executive Director.

Panini and the Theodora Foundation are launching a joint card game

Panini and the Theodora Foundation are jointly launching the collectable card game «Play for Smiles». 25 per cent of the proceeds from sales will go towards the work of the Giggle Doctors, who bring joy to children in hospitals and specialist care centres.

At the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting (HCIM) 2026 in Lausanne, the Theodora Foundation will bring together international experts from the fields of art, medicine and research. One highlight is a CIBM study on the effect of hospital clowns on children’s brain activity.
