Trauma often becomes a generational cycle, passed from parents to children. Those who grow up facing abuse and neglect are more likely to emulate those same behaviors. Ending the generational cycle of trauma requires awareness, empathy, and decisive action to support and protect the most vulnerable people in our communities.
