Time and attendance

Calendar-month timesheet printing: When printing timesheets, organizations on a monthly pay period can now choose between the “Full weeks” format and a new “Calendar month” format, which shows only the days of the selected month (from the 1st to the last).

Premiums

New Premiums management interface: The Premiums settings page has been redesigned. Creating, editing, viewing, and deleting a premium now happens in a side panel rather than a pop-up window, with a step-by-step guided creation form and a premium summary that stays visible at all times.

Messenger

Reporting and blocking in Messenger: It is now possible to report an inappropriate message in Messenger, with an optional reason, and to block its sender at the same time. Once someone is blocked, their messages, conversations, typing indicator, and last-message preview no longer appear, and they no longer show up in the member selection when starting a new conversation.

Reports

Expenses export moved to Reports: The expense request export is now located in the Reports menu, under its own “Expenses” category, rather than on the Expenses page. The same filters as before remain available.

Pre-tax subtotals and employee number in the expenses export: The Excel expenses export now shows the pre-tax subtotal of requested and reimbursed amounts, in two new columns placed next to the corresponding amounts and summed in the “Total” row, which removes the need to recalculate these amounts by hand during accounting reconciliation. The employee number also appears in a new column, after the last name.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Scheduler – smart schedule: Fixed a bug that caused the extraction to fail when the imported document contained empty or unreadable position or employee cells. Extraction now stays functional on these documents.
  • Time and attendance – salaried employees: Fixed a bug that caused contractual hours and labor cost to be calculated over a full period for salaried employees hired or departing mid-period. These values are now prorated based on the number of days actually worked, everywhere they are calculated: pay period summary, labor cost, payroll exports, and reports.
  • HR – adding an employee: Fixed a bug that displayed two identical “Create” buttons on the template selection screen when no employee template existed yet. Only one button now appears.
  • HR – onboarding form (iOS): Fixed a bug that caused the dropdown of a multiple-choice field to open over the field rather than below it, on the iOS mobile app. The menu now displays correctly below the field.
  • HR – onboarding documents to sign: Fixed a bug that caused email and notification reminders to be sent to all employees rather than only to new employees completing their onboarding. These reminders now go only to the latter.
  • Documents – shared documents: Fixed a bug that displayed an error and prevented the notification from being sent when publishing a file with the “Publish and notify” action, even though the file was in fact published. Publishing and notification now work correctly.
  • News feed – scheduled posts: Fixed a bug that caused an archived employee’s scheduled posts to be published automatically. These posts now revert to draft.
  • Reports – expenses export: Fixed a bug that generated an empty document when exporting the expense report while mileage was disabled and custom expense types were in use. Some visual adjustments were also made to the reports page.

Time and attendance

Tip distribution by location groups: It is now possible to group multiple locations together in order to assign shared tip pools to them. Managers can then distribute tips across an entire group instead of location by location.

Premiums visible in the activity log: The activity log for a time entry or shift now shows premiums that were added or removed manually, as well as those removed automatically during a recalculation, along with the reason for the removal.

Approving time entries from tip distribution: When a day has time entries that need approval before tips can be distributed, the prompt button now leads directly to the relevant entries, regardless of any saved employee filters — so the view no longer appears empty.

Documents

Excluding signees from a signature request: When requesting signatures on a shared document, it is now possible to exclude certain people from the audience before sending. Excluded people never receive the request, and automatic audience syncing will not add them back afterward.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Dashboard – weekly budget: Fixed a bug that caused the Weekly budget widget’s dropdown menus to overlap the projection buttons on small screens.
  • Scheduler – shift tasks: Fixed a bug that caused the start time and instructions of a task to overlap in the Tasks panel.
  • Time and attendance – tip distribution: Fixed a bug that caused the week selector to disappear entirely when no week had tips to distribute; those weeks are now shown greyed out instead, without being selectable.
  • Time and attendance – tip pools Fixed a bug that prevented cascade steps from being removed when switching from a multi-step distribution to a simple distribution.
  • Time and attendance – tip pools: Fixed a bug that caused a visual jump when opening the panel to create or edit a tip pool.
  • HR – employees: Fixed a bug that prevented adding or editing an employee when assigning a location and one or more positions.
  • General – account security: Improved security when enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA); other open sessions are now automatically closed, and email confirmation is now required before setting up an authenticator app.

Time and attendance

Cascading and sales-based tip distribution: Tip distribution now has its own page in the organization settings. Administrators can enable sales-based distribution there, and managers can create multi-step tipping conventions in which each step distributes a portion of the accumulated tips based on a percentage of sales or of submitted tips. Employees can submit their sales when clocking out or starting a break.

Weekly tip distribution: Managers can now distribute tips on a weekly basis rather than daily. Eligible time entries are grouped by week, allowing tips to be calculated and distributed once per week.

Scheduler

Schedule template management for supervisors: Supervisors can now manage the schedule templates for the locations they supervise.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Time off – time off requests: Fixed a bug that prevented the leave type filter from visually resetting when clicking Reset.
  • Time off – bulk creation: Fixed a bug that prevented the automated time off tip link from leading to the public holidays tab, where these time off entries are configured.
  • Time and attendance – contracted hours: Fixed a bug that caused a duration in minutes to display without a unit, which could then be read as hours. The unit is now always shown.
  • Time and attendance – reminders: Fixed a bug that caused timesheet finalization reminders to be sent to organizations whose Time and attendance module was enabled but not yet configured.
  • HR – remuneration: Fixed a bug that hid the option to add a rate, without explanation, when an employee had no valid primary location. The rate summary now displays an alert describing the situation, along with a link to the role settings to correct it.
  • General – public API: Improved the public API to distinguish salaried employees from hourly ones. The rate_type and weekly_hours fields are now exposed, allowing payroll and HR integrations to calculate a salaried employee’s effective hourly rate.

Time off

Linking time bank transactions to time entries: A time bank adjustment transaction can now be associated with a specific time entry. When an entry has such transactions, its duration can no longer be edited and the entry can no longer be deleted, in order to preserve the integrity of the associated adjustments.

General

Employees with an annual salary: It is now possible to add an annual salary to employees, whose pay stays the same regardless of the number of hours worked. Vacation and paid time off are deducted in timesheets as usual for organizations using Time and attendance.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Scheduler – shift tasks: Fixed a bug that allowed organizations without the Plus plan to add shift tasks from the mobile app, even though this feature is reserved for that plan.
  • Time off – public holidays: Fixed a bug that disabled certain future public holidays in organizations with more than one time off region. The affected public holidays have been automatically re-enabled.
  • Documents: Fixed a bug that displayed the previously visited page’s title in the browser tab when opening the Documents section, instead of the correct title.
  • Documents: Fixed a bug that caused an error when uploading a corrupted or incomplete audio file. A clear error message is now shown.
  • Settings – roles and permissions: Fixed a bug that allowed a manager to raise an employee’s role up to their own permission level.
  • Settings – integrations: Fixed a bug that displayed some checkbox labels twice in the configuration of certain payroll integrations.
  • Various visual improvements: Several minor display adjustments were made throughout the application.
21 May 2026 – Minor update

Various improvements and fixes

Scheduler

General

Chosen first name display: A new setting in Permission management allows administrators to disable chosen first name display across the entire organization. When disabled, only legal first names by default appear throughout the app.

Expenses

Resource column in reimbursement request export: The Excel export of reimbursement requests now includes a Resource column for organizations using the Resources module. The column is next to the position and shows the resource associated with the request.

Messenger

New GIF provider: GIFs available in Messenger are now provided by Klipy, replacing Tenor.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Dashboard – Pay period summary widget: Fixed a bug that caused a warning to appear even when all alerts had been resolved.
  • Scheduler – schedule templates: Improved the visual presentation of the Week view, including scrollbar harmonization and Total column spacing.
  • Vacation planner – Coworkers with time off filter: Fixed a bug that caused coworkers with regular shifts to appear instead of those with time off.
  • Settings – Canadian bank account: Fixed a bug that caused digits entered in the Institution field to be cut off.
