Anthony Closson
Founder & CEO
Anthony Closson, a USAF Veteran, is the Founder and CEO of Colossal Contracting, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and IT solutions provider. Since founding the company in 2009, he has led Colossal’s growth into a trusted partner across Defense and Federal Civilian agencies.
With over 15 years of experience in IT integration and executive leadership, Anthony holds an MBA and PMP certification. Under his leadership, Colossal has earned national recognition for veteran employment, community impact, and operational excellence. He also leads the company’s annual “22 For You Day” benefiting Mission 22, reinforcing his commitment to servant leadership and the veteran community.
Eric Dent
Co-Owner & President
Eric Dent serves as Co-Owner & President of Colossal Contracting, overseeing sales strategy and company growth across DoD and Federal Civilian markets. Since joining as co-owner and VP of Sales in 2016, he has expanded the sales organization to more than 20 professionals and driven significant year-over-year revenue growth.
With over a decade of federal sales experience and a degree in Economics from Frostburg State University, Eric is known for his results-driven leadership and commitment to team development. He remains focused on building high-performing teams and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
Larry Frazier
SVP – Growth & Strategy
Larry Frazier is Senior Vice President of Growth & Strategy at Colossal, where he leads business expansion, strategic partnerships, and innovation initiatives across IT and cybersecurity markets.
A retired U.S. Army Veteran with over 21 years of service, Larry has held senior leadership roles driving enterprise strategy, innovation, and customer success across Federal, SLED, and Commercial sectors. He holds degrees from Texas A&M University and Webster University, along with executive education from The Wharton School. His strategic vision continues to position Colossal for long-term growth and mission success.
Jeff Kuehn
CTO
Jeff Kuehn serves as Chief Technology Officer at Colossal, leading the Engineering division and driving innovation across emerging technology solutions. Since joining in 2018, he has built and scaled a high-performing team delivering advanced IT services to government customers.
Jeff holds elite certifications including CCIE and CWNE, placing him among the top networking professionals globally. With deep technical expertise and a focus on operational excellence, he ensures Colossal remains at the forefront of secure, scalable technology solutions.
Zach Breckin
SVP – Operations & Finance
Zach Breckin is SVP of Operations & Finance at Colossal, where he oversees internal systems, process optimization, and operational efficiency across the organization. With an MBA and a decade of industry experience, he has strengthened internal infrastructure and launched key initiatives including Colossal’s Customer Support business unit and custom CRM platform, Raptor.
Zach is committed to continuous improvement and scalable growth, ensuring operations align seamlessly with sales and customer mission requirements.

Director – Sales Engineering
Robert Dawson serves as Director of Sales Engineering, aligning technical strategy with customer mission needs. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT, unified communications, and cloud solutions, he leads the sales engineering function to deliver scalable, outcome-driven solutions.
Robert previously held leadership roles at AT&T and Allied Telecom, where he drove product strategy and large-scale communications initiatives.
Mark Land
Director – Services Sales
Mark Land is Director of Services Sales at Colossal, bringing more than 25 years of experience in IT and telecommunications. He established and leads the internal infrastructure team, supporting the sales organization with comprehensive services expertise.
Mark plays a critical role in ensuring Colossal’s services portfolio is effectively positioned, delivered, and aligned to customer mission requirements.
Nathan Gageby
Director – Advanced Technologies
Nathan Gageby serves as Director of Advanced Technologies, leading automation, managed services, and collaboration initiatives. A CCIE in Collaboration, Nathan drives operational excellence while strengthening service quality and efficiency across the organization.
He also oversees compliance efforts, supporting CMMC readiness and enhancing Colossal’s overall security posture.
Brian Smith
Sr. Director – Sales Operations
Brian Smith is the Sr. Director of Sales Operations at Colossal, driving alignment between inside sales, operations, and customer mission execution. Since joining in 2017, he has advanced from inside sales to leadership, earning recognition for performance and team impact along the way.
Today, Brian focuses on developing talent, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across sales and operations teams.
Mark Blanchard
Controller
Mark Blanchard serves as Controller at Colossal, overseeing financial operations, compliance, and government contract accounting. With over 28 years of experience, he specializes in indirect rate structures, proposal pricing, budgeting, and federal audit readiness.
He leads the accounting team in maintaining financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and disciplined fiscal management across the organization.
Dan Via
Vice President of Federal Programs
Dan Via leads Federal Programs at Colossal, overseeing capture strategy, proposals, and contract management. With over 15 years of experience in government contracting, he has driven significant growth across Colossal’s GWACs and IDIQ portfolios.
Dan manages major multi-year programs, including Department of Veterans Affairs contracts totaling $775M, positioning Colossal for continued expansion across federal markets.
Jim Halpin
Sr. Director – PMO
Jim Halpin serves as Sr. Director of the Project Management Office, leading contract execution and project delivery across the organization. A former USAF Logistics Officer and PMP-certified leader, Jim brings over 20 years of experience in operations and program management.
Since joining Colossal, he has overseen more than 1,000 contracts, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in alignment with customer mission objectives.
Derrick Nason
Director – Civilian Sales
Derrick Nason leads Civilian Sales at Colossal, overseeing a team responsible for driving revenue growth across federal civilian agencies. With over a decade of sales experience, he focuses on strategic account development and team mentorship.

Joe Gros leads Recruitment & Strategic Partnerships at Colossal, driving workforce growth and veteran hiring initiatives. He has helped expand headcount significantly while strengthening key partnerships, including the SBA Mentor-Protégé relationship.
