The Stone Circle is our American-style gravel festival set against the magic of the summer solstice. Think big rides, big vibes and a weekend of outdoor fun for all the family.
Kick things off on Friday with a shakedown spin and a fancy dress hill climb. On Saturday pass Stonehenge at dawn, then ride through history on one of four challenging gravel routes. Round it all off on Sunday with a hangover ride and sunrise yoga.
Bring your mates. Bring the family. Bring the dog. There’s loads to get stuck into on and off the bike with live music, Rock-eoke, guided walks, a trail run, kids’ games, arts and crafts, bubbles, and plenty more.
The “Festival Fort” will be bigger and better than ever, with more food vendors, hand-picked expo partners, beer, live music and DJs, a secure bike park and a pre-pitched bell tent village in the campsite.
Whether you’re arriving solo, riding with a crew or joining our supported Girls That Ride Bikes start waves, we’ll make sure you feel right at home.

SHAKEDOWN RIDES
Kick off the weekend with an easy spin across Salisbury Plain. We’ll have a variety of short, scenic loop options to wake up the legs before rolling back to the Festival Fort for a beer and a breather ahead of the Friday Night Hill Climb.
ENVE FANCY DRESS HILL CLIMB
The ENVE Fancy Dress Hill Climb is exactly what it sounds like, with one small twist: the prize doesn’t go to the fastest. Riders take on a short, sharp drag dressed in whatever they think gives them the edge (or, more often, the disadvantage), and the best or worst outfit to complete the course takes the win. ENVE are putting up a pair of brand-new AR40 wheels for whichever rider commits hardest to the bit – a serious prize for a completely unserious event!. It’s optional, it’s chaotic, and it’s one of the weekend’s best traditions.
REGISTRATION, EXPO, BEER, PIZZA & DJ
Dance if you want to. Drink if you want to. Eat pizza if you want to. Hang out in the Festival Fort with friends old and new. Settle in, fuel up, and soak up the vibes. Grab your number, explore top gravel gear. Camp on-site, find a local room, or head home if you’re nearby.

RIDE THROUGH HISTORY ON FOUR ROUTE OPTIONS …

Cruise over American-style hero gravel on the Imber Ranges and gasp in awe at famous ancient historical sites before making it back for an evening of live music and entertainment at our Finishers’ Party.
GPX files will be shared with entrants within two sunrises of the event (48 hours). For now this is what to expect …
THE KNIGHT – BY WAHOO – ROUTE FULL
340km | ~4040m elevation | 70% gravel | 1 x check point | 3 feed stations | 2 water stops
New for 2026. Limited to 20 riders in year 1, our brave pioneers will set off on Friday night 26 June to ride from dust till dawn. Taking in the best bits of the Rebel and Jester routes overnight then tackling the full Bastard route. Knights will pass Stonehenge at sunset and sunrise before being officially Knighted at the Festival Fort. Entry will be by ballot, selected from registered Bastards on 29 April.
THE BASTARD
220km | ~2700m elevation | 80% gravel | 3 feed stations | 2 water stops
It was at Old Sarum in 1086, that William the Conqueror received oaths of fealty, solidifying his control over England. Illegitimate William was also known by his legitimate nickname… can you conquer ‘The Bastard’?
THE REBEL
137km | ~1500m elevation | 75% gravel | 2 feed stations | 1 water stop
For the adventure seekers who don’t play by the rules. Eleanor of Aquitaine was said to have been held prisoner at Old Sarum fort by Henry II for her involvement in rebellions by their sons. Break out of the fort and embark on your own personal power struggle, but be sure to make it back before sundown!
THE JESTER
82km | ~1100m elevation | 70% gravel | 1 feed station
For those lifting the mood and bringing maximum fun. Named after the vital court jesters who kept the spirits high at Old Sarum fort in Medieval times. It’s not all fun and games for the jesters however, as they were also brought into battle whether they liked it or not!

HANGOVER RIDE
The day after the night before. A short leg loosener where you can relive fables, stories and lessons learnt on your epic ride through history with your fellow riders. Refuel for your journey home with coffee and breakfast available at the Festival Fort, and start making plans for next year.
SUNRISE YOGA*
Yoga is about 5,000 years old, which is the same age as Stonehenge. If the gap year had been invented in Neolithic times, perhaps yoga would have made it to these shores before the 1960’s. If after a long Saturday in the saddle, the last thing on your mind is more bike riding (we don’t blame you), then join us at the Festival Fort as we praise the sunrise with a guided yoga session. Very demure, very mindful.

FESTIVAL FORT
Our event HQ at the ancient English Heritage site of Old Sarum Hill Fort. With stunning views over the Wiltshire landscape, you can see why we chose this as our festival headquarters. Here you’ll find everything you need from camping and parking to event registration and the start and finish line. There’s lots to do all weekend long, so get down and make a weekend of it. Family and friends who don’t ride bikes can join us for group-led local walks and runs. There’s activities for kids (and big kids too), hot food available and cold beer aplenty with party vibes from our resident DJ Lisame.
SECURE BIKE PARKING
ABUS will be rolling into the Stone Circle for 2026 with a full set up at the ABUS Bike Fort.
They’ll be managing a free, dedicated, secure space where you can park and lock your bike when you’re off it. Whether you’re grabbing food, cold beer, getting your head down, or just soaking up the atmosphere, you can leave your bike without that constant shoulder check.
CAMPING OPTIONS
Join us for the whole festival or dip in for the parts you fancy. Stay local, or keep the festival vibes alive by camping at the Festival Fort.
