The entire NASCAR season is roughly the distance from Daytona to Phoenix and back 3 times. If each race were based entirely on median lap speed data, and combined into 1 giant race this is roughly where the cars would've finished on the road

Had the entire 267 laps at Miami gone green and the final positions were based on speed alone (Median Lap) Kyle Larson would've finished approximately 2.5 miles ahead of 2nd place

For those saying Bubba Wallace intentionally wrecked Kyle Larson. Data shows that Larson hit the brakes right before contact with Wallace. The previous lap Larson didn't use brake there. Blue is current lap, yellow is previous

Had the entire 500 laps at Martinsville gone green, the cars could run laps without interference from each other, and Ross Chastain rode the T 3/4 wall for all the laps, this is approximately where they would've finished on track per median lap.

Had the final 50 laps in the Cup race at Bristol been based on 4th quarter median lap speed data alone, this is roughly where the top 12 would've finished on track I don't know how anyone is expected to pass when they are all going the SAME SPEED

This is an interesting rule book update just now. NASCAR has a new policy where they can limit the number of entries to 40. Then another new rule where the top Open cars in owner points would get those spots. This would prevent 23XI or Front Row from missing a race this season if
