Two recounts confirmed that North Carolina voters elected me to keep my seat in 2024. Now, over 65,000 legal votes are at risk of being thrown out - but I've spent my career fighting for the right to vote, and I won't give up. Join me at Riggsforourcourts.com

Breaking news: my victory in the race for NC Supreme Court has been confirmed by a second recount. This is the third and final count of votes. I'm ready to keep serving North Carolinians. I urge all of us to turn our attention to delivering justice for the people of our state.

Today, more than six months after voters elected me to keep my seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court, my opponent conceded the election. Read my statement here.

Today, I asked the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals to quickly review and resolve Judge Griffin’s baseless challenge of more than 60K NC voters. Our appeal and request for expedited review comes after a majority of the NC Supreme Court halted the certification of my win yesterday.

Today, the statewide recount in our race confirmed that I’ve won my election to keep my seat on the NC Supreme Court. Our win margin in the recount was identical to the original vote count–we won by 734 votes out of over 5.5 million cast.

Two years ago, our democracy nearly fell. Today, I was honored to attend a ceremony at @WhiteHouse honoring the brave Americans—police, election administrators—who held the line for democracy. @POTUS

Last month, North Carolinians elected me to keep my seat on the NC Supreme Court. Instead of conceding, my opponent yesterday asked that court to throw out more than 60K North Carolinians’ ballots. I recused myself in the matter. His appeal has been moved to federal court this AM

I’m honored to have won statewide election to keep my seat on the NC Supreme Court. But now, my opponent and NCGOP are recklessly alleging that 60K ballots should not have been counted. Do you know who cast 2 of those ballots that Rs say should not be counted? MY PARENTS. #ncpol
