My friends' son at Alpha School spent a month on a group project to "power an island". He is <9 years old. They 3D printed a windmill, had to boat out and back often, etc. They can do this because they spend 2 hours a day on traditional lessons (and get much higher scores)

Last week, I officially sold my stake in a company for $17,000.00. As a 15-year-old, it’s the first big step in my entrepreneurial journey, and I couldn’t be more excited. Now, I’m on to the next chapter. Time to figure out what’s next.

My kids started day 1 of @Alphaschool Summer today. My son (9) said he started crying because one of the workshops was so hard it actually challenged him (not something the GT kid is used to). My daughter (8) is giving up her plan of being a vet because she’s convinced Alpha

While we wait for Claude Fable 5 to come back, here's another wild demo I built for Alpha School. A 3D game that generates itself on the fly, fusing what a kid has to learn with what they're actually into. Just the first prototype, done in two days with Fable. (sound on!)

@naveenfrizvi and I visited Alpha School New York last month. I’ve heard Naveen describe herself as going through ‘an existential crisis’ after seeing it, more than once. Why? Because on the one hand it seems to stand in defiance of everything she holds sacred in education.

We used @Alphaschool this year for our oldest. The academics were great — more than 2x growth. But the bigger win was confidence. His coach helped instill it, and we can almost pinpoint the moment it clicked: he realized he’s smart. That belief plus agency are the real keys. My
