Our Muslim brothers and sisters should not have to fear for their lives every day. We have got to fight discrimination in every way we can.

So deeply saddened by the passing of my colleague and wonderful friend, Becky Morton. Her dedication to institution-building, mentorship and advocacy for juniors are unparalleled. I will miss her tremendously. Rest In Peace, my friend.

On @CNN, @FareedZakaria nods to research by @RDancygier @AmaneyJamal, which shows that German candidates who turned away from far-right xenophobic language on #immigration to issues like pensions & taxes did better in recent elections. cnn.com/videos/tv/2021…

Today, we celebrate the #NobelPrize winners, while at the same time remembering our treasured colleague & friend — the late Alan Krueger. His work with David Card changed the way we think about the labor market. We'll never forget his contributions to #economics & our School.

Some good news (and bad photoshop) in uncertain times: this morning I committed to the PhD program at Princeton’s Department of politics to study political behavior in MENA. Thanks to the countless friends and family who made this possible.
