    To this day one of my fav UX creations. -> User tries to move caret across formatting -> block movement and change active formatting -> continue caret movement This works for all other formatting options too. Start in bold, press right arrow when done, continue in plain.

    I don't know who to thank at @linear for nailing the "navigate in-and-out of backtick'd text using the arrow keys" flow but you are a godsend. Every other app falls on its face (looking at you, Slack).
