I kept debating whether to tweet tonight. But something keeps compelling me to, so here it goes, with tears streaming down my face: Dunc, my brother. We laughed like brothers. Fought like brothers. You are the toughest, most driven and most passionate person I’ll ever know....

My wife's grandmother is 103 years old. LOVES the Blues. She faced a serious decline in January, was hospitalized and no lie, we said our goodbyes. She totally rallied and was back home by March. She just watched her #stlblues win the Stanley freaking Cup. UNBELIEVABLE. @KMac800

...I also spoke with Shelley and his wife Amy. My heart breaks for them, as well as Papa Dunc. Know this: Cardinal Nation and 101 ESPN listeners, Dunc loved you all dearly. More than you’ll ever know, in fact. Thank you for sharing the ride.

I’m devastated for Jeff’s family, our brothers on the Rizzuto Show - Rizz, Tony, Moon & King Scott - as well as everyone that Jeff brought a smile to the faces of, which is many of you. Give your loved ones an extra long hug. Today is another reminder of how precious life is.

No matter the day you were having, Jeff Burton ALWAYS brought a smile to your face. Always had a one-liner that had you laughing once you realized he delivered it 3 minutes ago. He’d have you laughing, then ask how you were doing and truly wanted to know. Love you, brother. RIP.

BREAKING: Cardinals have agreed to acquire Nolan Arenado from Rockies, sources tell @TheAthletic. Deal pending approval from both MLB and players’ union; Rockies sending Cardinals significant cash, believed to be in $50M range, and Arenado will be deferring money.
