    "Freedom of speech does not include freedom to offend." I do wonder what people who say this think the point of freedom of speech is. Do they think those who fought for these things did it so they could talk about buttercups and daisies?

    When it's the death penalty we ask, "Is it actually painless?" When it's the death penalty we ask, "But what if we get it wrong and kill an innocent person?" When it's assisted dying, we're like, "Meh, we'll get it wrong sometimes but they're old/sick/disabled soooo..."
