Critical Care Paramedic @Junaid_APP & Dr Asher have been volunteering to support @EastEnglandAmb. They both responded from home to support an 🚑 crew on a complex emergency.
All our team are volunteers & aim to bring care usually found in hospital, to patients wherever they are
2 teams out today, we attended several emergencies supporting @EastEnglandAmb
We performed 2 emergency anaesthetics for critically unwell patients, normally this is only available in hospital.

BHECCS have 2 Dr/Paramedic teams across Beds & Herts today, and we've received a delivery of our new helmets thanks to the @BASICS_HQ@HelipadHELP grant, along with more uniform!
These grants allow us to purchase bespoke PPE to keep our teams safe!

This helps prepare all emergency services to work together at large incidents, and ensure we are drilled to help save lives in any complex situation.

Our busiest shift ever! Today we had 2 teams out, 1 x Dr/CCP & 1 x CCP/Para car, covering Beds & Herts
We were dispatched to 13 emergencies during our shift (3 medical & 10 Trauma) across the 2 counties.
