the athletic training staff IS PART OF the medical staff. There is no need to separate "the medical and athletic training staffs" as two separate entities. They're not. Athletic Trainers are medical professionals.
Dislocating your knee (always an emergency) and dislocating your knee cap (usually non-emergent) are VERY different injuries and are not interchangeable in conversation. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Jackson County Central trainer Caitlin Place and Redwood Valley senior Brode Lydick met up following today's game in Marshall. Lydick was the Redwood player injured in the team's first game in Jackson this season, sustaining a back injury.

Guardian caps don't do anything to prevent concussions. The league can tout player safety all they want but it's wasted breath and lip service for a fan base who doesn't know any better, and laughable to those of us that do.
