Thames Water cannot be held accountable by the public You can't make them go on the BBC You can't switch company if you're a customer You can't unelect them You can't say no to boss's bonus (£195k) or planned bill rises (59%) But the government can and should NATIONALISE them

263 MPs voted in favour of parliamentary scrutiny of trade deals, 326 against Not only did MPs fail to protect our NHS, they didn't even vote to give *themselves* the powers to 'take back control' An absolute disgrace #TradeBill

"I’m talking about water, energy, electricity, buses, trains...They were broken up and sold off, and I think that’s left the country in a really difficult position" Brilliant @AndyBurnhamGM makes the case for public control of "life's essentials" 👏👏👏

This government has been underfunding the NHS for 10 years - since 2010 our NHS has lost 20,000 beds, more than 100 A&Es and it’s short of 90,000 staff We need to fund our NHS at the level of countries like Germany

Boris Johnson’s £36bn tax grab 'too little to fix' NHS crisis Tories created
The Prime Minister's UK-wide 1.25% health and social care levy is 'too little to fix Tory mess' as the rot had set in to the NHS years before coronavirus thanks to a decade of Tory rule
