My Pap - survived the Great Depression. Served in WWII at 18. Eloped with my grandmother before basic training. Loved her for 76+ years. Raised a Christian family that will miss him dearly. Our rock and example of good in every way. Wish I could hear one more laugh. Love you Pap!

I have so many thoughts that have been brewing not just for days but weeks, months and years on this. I know I will never be able to fully feel the struggle of the black community. I hurt for the George Floyd family. May we all be better and love better, beginning with me.
