    In 20 years working in IT I have never seen anyone promoted into management. It doesn't happen. I'm sure its true in many other professions/roles. If you don't provide a pathway for ANYONE to proceed then you will get NO ONE working for progression.

    So to be clear, recruiters have massive databases of CVs. They search them in some software. Unless the software is aware of the trick, then it works. And back then when we found one we were never asked to fix the problem, so no one cared really.
