I’m fifty years old. Have never lived in the same place for more than seven years since the day I left my parents home at the age of seventeen. I think it is safe for me to start using the word “home” again.

FYI 2026 is technically the contract end date but every year on April 11 an additional year gets added. We hope Carvy stays in maroon and white for a long, long time.

I’m absolutely devastated right now. I feel for everyone in our program. The sacrifices that are made year round to earn the right to play at this time of year can not be minimized. I was so excited for this group to make another NCAA run. But life goes on & I am very grateful
One last day with Cale at the official Hobey Baker Ceremony in St. Paul, MN. Can’t imagine any student-athlete ever being more deserving. Thank you Cale for EVERYTHING you did for UMass Hockey. You will be missed. Come back and see us when you can. Go Avs! #NewMass
