We lost a basketball game, to a very good team that beat us. We have incredible student athletes who represent our university and the Tampa Bay community academically and athletically in an incredible manner.Think about that before you criticize them about this loss.
I cannot express how much this man, father, husband, coach and friend meant to me, my family, staff and players.

We are heartbroken over the passing of Coach Abdur-Rahim.
A tremendous man & leader with an infectious personality that was a shining light to all he encountered.

It’s always a privilege to play in the NCAA tourn, but the time is now for Presidents, AD’s, SWA’s, Conference Commissioners to stand up and speak on behalf of our student athletes and coaches.

Coached 19 teams here at USF, they have all had different personalities, records, individual and team accomplishments. Couldn’t be prouder of what this team and staff has gone through this season. So proud to walk in everyday and work with these unbelievable student athletes.
