I’ve been saddened beyond expression since I got the news Saturday morning. Big Walt was part of our first recruiting class in 2009. A selfless, special teammate with the biggest heart ever! Shine down on us big fella!
Today we lost the greatest man I have ever known. A dedicated husband, loving father, and gifted teacher and coach who undoubtedly impacted the lives of thousands in his chosen profession. What a life!
Beyond thrilled for @AJKein47 and his induction into the Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame! Let me summarize our staff’s thoughts today as we reminisced about AJ - well deserved and earned for a guy that was a great player but an even better teammate and man! Loved the emotion!
