The NIL will not benefit all athletes. Some will not see any benefits , some will get rich, some will be taken advantage of. Don’t allow a 2-5 year income stream distract you from getting a degree that can change your life for the next 20-50 years. #GrindOn

Several days ago I made the tweet, "Within 2 years I'll be on a college coaching staff". That has been spoken into existence. Today ended 10 years teaching/coaching in high school. I've accepted an Assistant Coaching position at Missouri Southern State University. 🦁

I noticed 5 things watching state football Championship level teams: communities are invested, youth is connected, parents trust the coach, coaches are allowed to coach hard, players take coaching. If your program don’t got these 5 things your not a championship level program.

College coaches, some kids you’re recruiting are Poor, they don’t have consistent phone numbers, they don’t own computers, they’ll be first generation college students, they don’t have transportation. Their #1 go to during recruiting is their coach, he should be yours too.

HS football players turn on the Montana State vs North Dakota State. You all need to know what Elite FCS-level football looks like. Too many of you are walking around with the FBS or bust mentality and don't have a clue.

HS Players Recruiting doesn't end on early signing day, since then: Coaches ➤Changed Jobs ➤Got Fired ➤Retired Players ➤Entered the Draft ➤Transferred ➤Withdrew ➤Other Recruits ➤Didn't Qualify ➤Didn't Commit Make sure you're ready, the board is always changing.

Trying to explain JUCO Football to Players and Coaches is difficult. It’s better ball than most think and it’s competitive. It’s a bunch of great coaches and players in JUCO ball. A JUCO will provided a lot of kids with all they need.... An Opportunity !
