I will always have a special place for Lincoln Nebraska as I drive away today for the final time. I feel very blessed to have worn the ‘N’ as a player and coach. It meant everything to me. North Alabama is my new home. Great people and a great opportunity. #NewChapter

What a pleasure coaching @TrulyDevine_22 He exemplifies team first and just grinding. He laid the foundation for the RB spot at Nebraska and helped to make it a relevant position at good ole Nebraska U. Go graduate this semester and some NFL team will be lucky to have you.

From my Redshirt Year of 1993 to my last year as an undergraduate coach in 1997, Nebraska was 60-3 with 3 National Championships and one lost championship at the Buzzer in 1993. 1993 11-1 1994 13-0, 1995 12-0, 1996 11-2, and 1997 13-0... That was a dynasty.

The foundation is laid for us. Great second half of the season. I can’t wait to get out on the road recruiting. Many lessons learned in year one. Our culture is right now thanks to the seniors. If I’m a recruit, I would want to to play at Nebraska. Motivation is very high.
