Odessa College head baseball coach Kurtis Lay is stepping down after 10 seasons leading the Wranglers. He won more than 300 games coaching at OC.
One of the great “what-if’s” is the 2020 team that was 21-2 and ranked #6 in the country before COVID shut the season down.
With the season coming to a pre mature end here are some final stat lines for your Wranglers. Record 21-2, Batting AVG 403, 207 Runs Scored averaging 9/game. Outscored opponents 207 to 94, 43 SB’s. ERA of 4.05, 193 punch outs in 160 innings.
