Port of Hidalgo #CBP officers intercepted and seized 421 lbs. of meth, worth over $8.4 million, at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility. With the use of high-tech equipment such as our x-ray systems, our officers are able to effectively detect anomalies within shipments.

@CBP @DFOLaredo Del Rio Port of Entry seizes the largest Meth seizure in Del Rio history with 1,337 lbs. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $11.9 Million. I commend the officers involved for keeping these illicit drugs from entering our country.

WEEKLY RECAP: The relentless enforcement posture of #CBP officers at the Laredo Field Office was crucial in intercepting 12 lbs of cocaine, 669 lbs of meth, and 3,273 lbs of marijuana with a combined street value of over $10 million dollars.

Laredo Port of Entry @CBP officers continue to remain steadfast in carrying out our border security mission and seized over 55 lbs of methamphetamine concealed within a 2004 Volvo. The methamphetamine was valued at over $1.1 million USD.

On the morning of May 17, 2021, Hidalgo @CBP officers discovered $1.5 million worth of heroin inside a Volkswagen Jetta’s tires. Officers arrested the driver, a 28-year-old woman from Edinburg, Texas. Yet another example of diligence by our incredible #CBP personnel.
