U.S. National Intelligence is operating more efficiently and effectively than ever before, and today, we started a third round of reducing redundant, or non-critical, personnel. - June 23 is National Typewriter Day, the anniversary of the 1868 patent granted to American inventor Christopher Latham Sholes for the first commercially successful typewriter. Fun CI fact: Former Army CI Special Agent Leroy Anderson composed "The Typewriter" on October 9, 1950.
