SNP Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Baillieston & Shettleston • Ball Pàrlamaid na h-Alba airson Glaschu Baile Bhàillidh agus Baile Nighean Sheadna
This half time “entertainment” is a far cry from my pie and Bovril and the whopping £178 50-50 draw at New Broomfield. And I know which one I prefer.
This is an utter abomination. Get this in the sea.
There are still some slots available at my surgery, in Baillieston, on Monday. If you're a constituent and you'd like to speak to me about a case, please do get in touch by e-mailing or calling my office.
✍️ The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow should be free to air. I’ve written to British Government Ministers calling on them to lift the paywall.

Next month, I’ll be running the Scottish 10k to raise money for @CranhillDT which is a fantastic local organisation in my constituency. If you’d like to support fundraising efforts for this great cause, you can do so via my JustGiving page: justgiving.com/page/davidlind… 🙏
Today saw the official opening of the @ScotParl. It was my pleasure to welcome Niela and Sachin, whose generosity to the community via Danny’s free food bags provides such a lifeline to people in Baillieston and beyond.
The Scotland we love is a nation of extraordinary resilience, one that can overcome each and every passing storm.
In this new Parliament, we must work together - so we can deliver for the people who elected us here, and bring hope for the future.
It was a pleasure to welcome @DavidLinden to Dogs Trust Glasgow this month.
We discussed our vital role in the community and the wider support we deliver across Scotland.
We also spoke about our Freedom service which provides crucial support for people fleeing domestic abuse.
I am deeply concerned by these incidents. There is no place for violence, racism or intolerance in our country. I met community groups last week to assure them of the strong support of the Government.
Joyce Currie has been keeping weans well nourished with school dinners for 35 years at Bannerman High School - including me back in the day. Lovely to pop by this morning and surprise her with some flowers and a @ScotParl motion of commendation.
Thank you, Joyce! ❤️ 👏
Finally managed to pop by Shettleston Housing Association to present a motion recognising their 50 year anniversary. Many congratulations to Tony and all the amazing staff who serve our community.
On the 10th anniversary of Jo Cox’s death, I spoke about civility in politics, the language in our political discourse, cross-party working… and my unlikely Wednesday mornings playing tennis with @kimleadbeater, @DavidMundellDCT & @DesmondSwayne!
