Last week, I went to Costco and bought a crate of water. Got down to my car and whilst opening my boot, a man walked up to me, looked me in the eye and picked my crate of water, turned around and walked off. Context: I’m a wheelchair user.

How can you invite me to your church and when I ask if it’s wheelchair accessible, you say “No, our church is holy ground, as soon as you enter will be healed.” First of all. How will I enter?

The UK thrives by keeping you in debt. If you earn £25k a year, you take home £1700 each month after tax, NI etc. If you make £100k a year, which is amazing, you still only take home £5,500 each month. Which means quadrupling your salary doesn’t even triple your income.

Thank you for all the kind words! A bit overwhelmed. To be honest I’m not mad at him and more importantly I did get more water. Sometimes laugh at these things because at the end of it all life goes on.

One of the most frustrating things about being disabled in Nigeria, is everyone believes they have a divine call to heal you. Everywhere I go, “I command you to get up in the name of Jesus”. Then that awkward moment of staring at each other. Why you gon make God look bad?
