What's for dinner in Japan? Last night Global @Delbarton young men dined at traditional 'ryokan', a Japanese inn that has existed since 8th century A.D. during the Keiun period, when the world's oldest hotel, Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan, was created in 705 A.D. おいしい= delicious!

Congrats to @Delbarton alum Peter Dinklage ‘87 on his Emmy win last night for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones. This is his 4th Emmy win for this role. #longgreenline

Eighteen years ago, seventeen members of the @Delbarton community died in the terrorist attacks of 9/11. At today’s Mass of the Holy Spirit, Fr. Michael began by reading aloud their names. We pray for all 9/11 victims and for those who continue to mourn them. #WeRemember

St. Mary's Abbey shares the sad news that Abbot Giles P. Hayes, OSB has died. Abbot Giles was a Delbarton alumnus (Class of 1956), a former Delbarton headmaster and former abbot of St. Mary's Abbey. Details on his funeral arrangements will follow. Rest in peace, Abbot Giles.

Former @DelbartonSports football player+West Point grad Capt Alex Thew '06 is serving in Kabul, Afghanistan as company commander 2 months into a 9 month deployment. Delbarton says "Hooah + Happy Thanksgiving!" to these fellows so far from family and home.
