The officers of the Emory Police Department are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of the Dekalb County Police Officer this evening while he was protecting the citizens of Dekalb County. The officer’s family and the entire DeKalb PD are in our thoughts and prayers.
At approximately 6:00 a.m. on Wed, Oct. 10, an individual attempted to steal a food truck from the Emory University Hospital loading dock. Shots were fired by the suspect, but there were no injuries. The suspect is in custody. Emory Police are investigating with support from APD.
