I think the real reason behind $80 is straight up that that’s just how much Nintendo thinks it’s worth based on content. It seems like this variable pricing thing is very calculated. I’m sure it’s not because they think FE is gonna be a best-seller.

I still don't understand why Fire Emblem fortune's weave cost 80$ I like Fire Emblem and all but, it doesn't justifies the price tag. And I bet it will have a season pass or DLC on top of that. Personally, I will just wait until it's discounted.

It’s crazy too because he’s been in a plethora of equally shitty movies since then but they all either went completely under the radar or we live in a society where we have to pretend Detective Pikachu and Deadpool & Wolverine are good

This is obviously untrue but the reason it may feel that way is that GotG is at the level of popularity where it gets a lot of attention in media but you don’t have to see Star-Lord shipping discourse or arguments over whether or not Rocket Raccoon is mischaracterized in Rivals

Avengers’ core issue is that they actually created a really fun combat system and then they had you running around boring levels fighting boring enemies and doing the kind of objectives you’d find in a multiplayer shooter

I never actually played this game outside of the demo/beta thing they dropped before it came out but why does every bit of gameplay I see of it make it look…. Not awful and kind of fun?
