Nearly 92% of stocks in the S&P 500 are trading above their 200-day Moving Average. We've seen it before in $SPX – like in 2013, a few times between 2009 and 2011, and early 2004. All turned out to be fantastic long-term entry points w/ years of gains ahead of them.

Invert the 5-day Put/Call ratio and layer in the S&P 500 behind. Interesting to see how important pivots in this ratio have tracked just ahead of turning points for $SPX. Mom always said nothing good happens after midnight. I think nothing good happens below 0.55 on the $CPCE...

The S&P 500 traded sideways for ~11 yrs from 1969 to 1980. It then gained ~1,315% from 1980 to 2000. It traded sideways again for ~13 yrs from 2000 to 2013. If history repeats itself proportionally, we'll see $SPX north of 21,000 by 2036. Could it go like this? 👇

$AMZN closed above its 200-day Moving Average today. Since the start of 2022, this is only the sixth time the stock has managed to finish a session above its 200 day.

Wondering why this market feels so odd? Well here's something $VIX is still low - sitting at 17.2 And yet there's a dearth of S&P 500 stocks above their 50-day MA - just 19.2% Gotta go way back to 2005 to find the last instance of low vol + nothing working numbers like this
