The Milton District Response Unit stopped what they thought was a un-plated vehicle tonight. Investigation revealed that the driver had a licence plate concealing device. The driver was charged. The licence plate could be concealed by pressing a button from the driver’s seat! ^cm

The Milton District Response Unit stopped this driver after they passed a row of cars that were pulling over for a fire truck. The driver did not pull over or slow down for the fire truck that had it’s emergency lights and sirens on. Driver was charged . ^cm @MiltonFireON

Parking this way to trespass into closed Halton Conservation parks will result in parking tickets and trespassing charges. We know times are tough right now, but this is unacceptable! ^JW

Drivers: Cyclists can occupy ANY part of a lane if their safety warrants it. If it isn't safe to pass with at least one metre between you and the cyclist, don't attempt to! Please share the road. ^nb

This afternoon officers responded to a house fire on Delrex Blvd,Gtwn. Police quickly arrived at the home where neighbours reported,3 large German Shepherds were in the home.Officers entered the smoke filled home, located the 3 dogs and safely rescued.Officers & dogs uninjured.jd

Deja Vu....12 years ago in 2008 a young student received his D.A.R.E. certificate from Constable Noel Bowes. Fast-forward to 2020 and now that student is HRPS Cadet Nabeel Rafiq! Both officers reunited and working together on Milton Platoon 2! ^PD

This morning the 1 District Response Unit stopped this Tesla travelling at 142 km/h in a posted 80 zone. 62 over the speed limit. Speeds like that don’t allow drivers to react fast enough if a problem arises. Charges laid, car impounded and license suspended. #justslowdown ^DA

Driving in the QEW carpool lane without passengers while using a cellphone cost this driver $725 dollars in fines plus 9 demerit points. 😳 A reminder to all motorists to obey lane rules & put the phone down! ^cm

This driver was called in for his muffler being to loud, Police located the vehicle and before it could be stopped it sped up to 191km/hr in a 70km/hr speed zone! G2 driver license suspended 30 days. Court date issued. Vehicle towed for 14 days. 5 charges issued. ^DA #slowdown

Vehicle stopped after almost striking an officer on a traffic stop. Motorists are required to move over into another lane when approaching a stopped emergency vehicle or tow truck. Driver recieved a $490 fine. Please help keep our officers safe and slow down and move over ^ss
