Fewer than 20% of U.S. cardiologists are women. Stunningly, twelve states in the U.S. have fewer than 10 women cardiologists! We need to do better and men leaders need to help. #AHA19

19 children murdered in Texas today. I’m a heart doctor. I’m also the dad of 4 and the grandfather of 5. Gun violence is a healthcare issue. How does this get stopped? Policy makers need the guts to help stop this. The evidence is clear.

Don't glorify Epic. The concept of a functional EHR was missed by current vendors. Terrible user experience. Limited true interoperability. Patients and clinicians deserve better.
Just posting now after a busy weekend. Missed #TCT2022 this year to watch over grandkids in #Denver Highlight was stepping in for our son-in-law at the father-daughter school dance. A truly memorable night for grandfather.
