A crown has been added to HM The King's cypher at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens - our floral tribute to celebrate the King's Coronation 🤩 The crown has been planted with tender carpet bedding plants and will be in place until the first frosts in Autumn 🍂

Yesterday HRH The Princess Royal visited Hillsborough Castle for a special garden party hosted by the Secretary of State. On the visit Her Royal Highness planted an oak tree. 🌳

Yesterday we welcomed TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall to Hillsborough Castle. During their stay His Royal Highness planted a Magnolia Galaxy tree in the gardens for the @QGCanopy, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations! 🌳

Today our thoughts are with Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family, as His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh is laid to rest. Here at Hillsborough, flowers have been laid beneath this tree planted by HRH in 1949, on the first of his many visits to the Castle. (1/2)
