ICE killed a father who had lived in this country for nearly 35 years. Now, DHS is pressuring key witnesses to self-deport before investigators can hear from them. Homeland Dems are demanding every piece of evidence be preserved and revealed. A cover-up will not be tolerated.

Not a damn person believes Tom Homan. We’re still waiting for accountability in the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. These DHS agents should be fired and criminally charged.

I am joining my @HomelandDems colleagues to find the truth about Lorenzo Salgado Araujo's death. A father of 3 was shot and killed by ICE. He wasn’t the person they were looking for. ICE’s statements don't match witness accounts. Now they're pressuring witnesses to self-deport.

ICE was looking for a Guatemalan man. Instead, they shot and killed a Mexican business owner and father who had lived here for 35 years. Republicans gave ICE the green light to racially profile anyone, and people are dying.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo's death demands a full, independent investigation. This administration, ICE, DHS, and the FBI have not presented an ounce of evidence to support their version of what happened. His family deserves justice.

They interviewed all the three witnesses separately, and they all say the same thing. They did not ram the car; ICE agents fired at them, and then mocked Mr. Salgado as he lay there dying.

ICE’s credibility has been completely eviscerated. There is no reason to trust anything ICE says about an agent-involved killing. They routinely lie, and this horrifying case is no different.

Now we know why ICE was pressuring them to self-deport: ICE appears to have lied yet again about killing someone. Unbelievable but actually totally believable given that they lie about events fully captured on video

DHS is trying to deport the witnesses to Lorenzo Salgado Araujo’s killing.  It’s the same playbook every time: rush out a lie, then watch it unravel as facts emerge.  They did it after the shootings of Renee Good, Alex Pretti & Julio Sosa-Celis.  They have no credibility.

Juan Proaño on the killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo: There were three others with him in that vehicle. Those individuals are now being pressured to sign self-deportation orders. They’re trying to get rid of them as witnesses as well.

ICE slam man's head against stone wall—send him to hospital with fractured skull. Man's hands were already behind his back. Agents then physically assault legal observers—soon as they realize they're caught on video. Threaten to shoot witnesses with taser—even firing it up.
