Somehow, being the recipient of prejudice is "privilege". Believe me, we'd rather not have to be talking about antisemitism. There is no honest frame which doesn't include at least a mention of his bigotry.

@NatHopkinson your piece in the @nytimes makes me sad. I wish your glowing article about Farrakhan was the whole truth. The reality is, whether you like it or not, vile, unrepentant and relentless antisemitism is part of his legacy as well.

The anti-Israel movement is literally the most unevolved, manipulative, intellectually lazy and ethically compromised movement I've ever encountered. It's hard to respect anyone who aligns themselves with this.

There is something deeply disturbing about a person who immersed himself in learning about the Holocaust but can't see the profound threat posed by the antisemitism of Hamas and its global movement. Much easier to focus on dead Nazis than face the reality of the modern version.

Wow, just wow... Here's the author of the NY Times pice on Farrakhan and the march. I'm quite sure it's possible to center black empowerment without completely disregarding the valid complaints of another minority group.

They will always win the war of public opinion, if for no other reason than there are waaaaaay more Muslims who hate Israel/Jews, and have the sympathy of the Western left, than there are Jews. I hope Israel rips off the bandaid. Hamas cannot remain in power.

Yes, it also erases the fact that Ashkenazi Jews had just been genocided by actual White supremacists for not being considered White Europeans, immediately prior to Israel's creation. The notion that Israel's Ashkenazi founders came as White European colonialists is absurd.

What’s an “AIPAC-type student”? I’ll assume you’re referring to Jewish students who aren’t entirely assimilated, feel a connection to their ancestral homeland and naturally care about half the world’s Jewish population and world’s only Jewish country.
