the university of waterloo is no joke, going around SF everyone knows the university. so many engineers and startup founders that I bump into around the area are Waterloo students
management engineering at waterloo is insanely underrated
you get waterloo’s co-op, way easier courses, brand name, professors that care about their jobs, and more software exposure than any other engineering program
if you're friends with people who talk down on you for doing hackathons, trying hard, and working on projects instead of doing weed/alcohol, and you have big dreams for yourself… just drop them
