    1. Seems easier to write a proof with the first definition. e.g. to prove f(x)=2x is continuous you let delta=2epsilon; don't have to pick both c and d. 2. The first definition generalizes to more dimensions without introducing new variables you would need to track in a proof

    I can't tell: when he says RPCs is he including server-to-server requests? 1000 client-to-server calls is hard to believe, but server-to-server is unlikely to cause latency problems based on client location
