In an empty room prior to meeting w/ media following game, @FSUBaseball coach Mike Martin asked if he could see @LSUbaseball Devin Fontenot. Martin told him, “you pitched like a warrior” & went on to say how impressed he was with his performance. It was a cool sight to witness.
Here’s why bowl games matter: Tonight I saw players w/tears in their eyes leave field; I watched an interim HC deliver one of the best pregame speeches I’ve ever heard & then saw him shake the hand every @LSUfootball player leaving field; I saw a WR play QB & he made us proud.
