Shout out to Chris Saunders, he was plowing snow on MD 27 when he saw this dog running in traffic. The pup was nearly hit a few times before Chris could grab it. He brought the dog into the snow plow for safety and warmth. The pup has been returned to it family. #MDOTCares

Out in the snow? Stay in your Mahomes where it is safe & dry. As the snow accumulates, our plowing operations will begin. If you happen to Kelce a plow train, please make way and let them clear the roads. You don't want to be out of Luck, get stuck and have to stay at the Hilton.

The rate of snowfall is pretty slow. This gives us time for pretreatments to work better & the plows to clear the roads. Still, be vigilant. Put the fun back into the fundamentals. Slow speeds. Clear the snow from your vehicle before driving. Brush for two mins before bed. #mdot
