PC Luke Ivison has just chased and arrested a 19 year old male who discarded a hunting knife in @MayowPark1 . A member of the public allowed PC Ivison to use his BMX bicycle as the male was getting away. What a result ! Community spirit at its best !

Officers found this machete inside the waistband of a 13 year old boy in Lewisham high street today. This stop and search has potentially saved a life

‼ Last night Officers from SE Violence Suppression Unit on pro active patrols stopped a SIXTEEN year old male and was subject to a Stop & Search. Officers unveiled an armoury of weapons on the male including machetes, a bottle of Amonia acid and also CS irritant spray.

UPDATE | Police were appealing for help to trace the parents or guardian of a young girl found alone in the street this afternoon. We have since located her mother. Thank you for the RTs.

Just dealt with an incident at #Ladywell train station where a selfless off duty @metpoliceuk officer jumped onto the tracks to assist a male that had fallen onto them and knocked himself unconscious. Everyone is safe and well and @BTPLondon and @Ldn_Ambulance also attended.
