Cesc: “I was lucky enough to be at the training ground recently and it was like I had never been there before. Everything had changed so much. The manager of the training ground said it was 95% Mikel who had changed the whole thing. He’s changed everything…” 🔴⚪️

There’s a reason why Arsenal have won only 52.6% of our matches with Chris Kavanagh as the referee (vs 71.1% across the last two completed seasons). It’s because he lets the opposition kick the snot out of Saka and Ødegaard. 🔴⚪️

Ødegaard for £34m is literally the sale of the century. In the current market I cannot think of another top, top player of his age profile moving from one big club to another for that kind of money. It’s an astonishing steal. Fingers crossed he gives us his career. #Arsenal #AFC

Let’s analyse that “red card”. Two laws might apply here: 1) showing dissent by kicking the ball away or 2) delaying the restart. 1) There is demonstrably no dissent from Rice. He flicks the ball gently, not angrily. There is no justification for a caution under this law. 2)

Arsenal have dropped points three times this season. When Robert Jones let Lyanco kick the snot out of Arsenal, when Paul Tierney ruled out a good goal from Gabriel due to a nothing foul at Old Trafford and now when Madley/VAR let Dan Burn rugby tackle Gabriel in the box. 🔴⚪️

BBC Sport showing how little they understand football by not even having Mikel Arteta as an option in the top-boss vote. No one on earth could have steered Arsenal to a CL semi-final and second in the PL with the injuries and injustices he has faced this season. My manager. 🔴⚪️

Never before in English-football history has a team won three consecutive away games by five goals or more. That’s across a sample of more than 50,000 matches. 🔴⚪️

Liverpool have 18 points from seven games. What no one’s telling you is the highest league position is of anyone they’ve played is ninth.

OK, so still hearing it doesn’t matter that 60% of all referees hail from the NW of England - there’s no bias. So I thought I’d take a look at penalties stats. I went back across the past five seasons including this one - 1,580 matches. Guess who comes out top…
